Another notable Sunday afternoon on the Waterfront at Sovereign Harbour and ‘Carols with the Crew’ of Eastbourne Lifeboat.
All funds raised are for the maintenance and upkeep of Eastbourne’s Lifeboats ‘Diamond Jubilee’ and the ‘Lawrence and Percy Hobbs’. It was reported that so far this year there have been a record total of 172 ‘call outs’ for the two lifeboats.
Paul commented ‘There was a magnificent crowd at the Waterfront to enjoy the Carols and putting their donations into the collector’s buckets. I am sure the welcome sum of monies donated will be excellent and most appreciated by the volunteer crew’.
