Barry Taylor

Barry Taylor: Meads

I’m very pleased to be able to stand again as a Borough Councillor for Meads. My wife Christine and myself, along with our family, run a business in the area, which our sons are now extending. We are very proud of our now 10 grandchildren & one great-grandchild, all of whom are an absolute delight, and are attending local schools.

I’ve served for many years on the planning committee, and have previously been, because I consider planning to be a very important part of preserving the heritage of Meads. There will be enormous pressure on development within Meads in future years. I’ll do my best to preserve our uniquely built environment, by opposing the destruction of buildings such as Kempston.
