Rosie Moon is a dedicated local campaigner, standing as a candidate in the upcoming Langney by-election for Eastbourne Borough Council. Committed to giving Langney a stronger voice, Rosie is working to ensure that residents’ concerns are heard and addressed at the Council.
Born and raised in Eastbourne, Rosie attended Ratton School and East Sussex College, where she focused on public services before qualifying as a bookkeeper. With deep roots in the town, she has witnessed firsthand the impact of decisions made by our Lib Dem run council and is passionate about standing up for residents who feel let down by years of mismanagement.
Rosie has been a vocal critic of the Council’s handling of public assets, including the attempted closure of the Sovereign Centre’s pools and public toilets, the neglect of key community sites such as Motcombe Pool, the Bandstand, and the Redoubt, as well as the steep rise in parking charges and reductions in essential services like grass-cutting. She believes that Langney residents deserve better.
“For too long, Langney has been neglected by our Council,” Rosie says. “I want future generations to enjoy the Eastbourne I grew up in. I know how much this town means to the people who live here because I feel the same way. If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure Langney gets the attention and investment it deserves.”
