Lib Dem Financial Management Questioned Again

Eastbourne’s Conservatives have again questioned the Liberal Democrat controlled borough council’s financial management after it emerged the Hampden Retail Park it owns is now worth 10% less than they paid for it.

 

9,000 more people saving for retirement in town

Due to changes to workplace pensions, 9000 people in Eastbourne and over 9 million more people are now saving for retirement and are enrolled in a workplace pension.

Unemployment down, and wages up!

Figures released today show that unemployment has remained at its lowest rate in more than four decades and youth unemployment has fallen to its lowest rate since records began.
